Ryan Mango (59 kg/130 lbs.) won a silver medal at the Lavrikov Greco-Roman Championships in St. Petersburg, Russia during his first international tour since he joined the Minnesota Training Center in August.
Jake Fisher (75kg/165 lbs.) and Ryan Mango, both of the MN Storm, have been in Belarus and Russia since mid November.

Members of the Minnesota Storm recently traveled to Puerto Rico to participate in an international training camp with legendary coach, Juan Manuel Fernandez. Ryan Mango of the Minnesota Storm reflects on their trip and offers great insight into what he learned from his experience in a different culture.

The wrestling clinic is included in the price of admission to attend the Greco-Roman Hall of Champions induction ceremony. World Bronze Medalist Andy Bisek will talk about his ascent to the podium in 2014. He will be joined by other U.S. World Team Members. Tickets to attend all portions of the evening may be purchased online.
Registration ends soon. People who only plan to attend the clinic may register online or pay $50 at the door. Participants who plan to attend the Hall of Champions ceremony must notify organizers in advance so a catered meal can be provided at no additional cost.
Jim Martinez will go into the Greco-Roman Hall of Champions on October 18. He was recently a featured guest on the "On The Mat" radio program.

MTC Storm member Joe Rau will compete in the FILA World Championships on Saturday, Sept. 13 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Rau will wrestle at 80 kg in the Greco-Roman tournament.
Rau earned his spot on the World Team by defeating former Olympian Ben Provisor in the Phase II World Team Trials in Fargo, ND.
“It means so much to me,” said Rau. “I have had a lot of ups and downs on the senior level as I said and this was a huge breakthrough for me in my career.”
