Salsa in the Square to feature Bisek in matchup of USA vs Cuba

Andy Bisek will compete in downtown New York City in Beat the Street’s “Salsa in the Square” event, featuring Team USA versus Team Cuba. Previous events hosted by Beat the Streets in New York have produced iconic images of Olympians wrestling outside in Times Square and in Grand Central Terminal.

Legendary wrestler and promoter Verne Gagne died Monday surrounded by his family in Minnesota, according to close friends. He was 89. Gagne was the first Minnesotan on the U.S. Olympic Team.

Jordan Holm named USA Wrestling athlete of the week

Jordan became the first U.S. wrestler to win the Hungarian Golden Grand Prix in 12 years. He won five matches on the day including a win over 2014 World Championships fifth place finisher, Johansson of Sweden in the finals.

Nelson returns to competition

Bisek shines as Storm athletes take to the mat in Jack Pinto Cup
